The most common construction terms used in the industry can get you confused some times, as to what\u2019s what and how one term is different than other. Some very common hardwood examples are walnut, oak, ash, cherry, maple, poplar. Manufacturers and Home owners first choice is always hardwood because of the durability, strength and the stability.
\nSoftwood comes of the trees bearing cones, generally from pines, Larch, Fir, Cedar. Grown usually in the colder regions.\u00a0 Softwood growth rate is way more higher than the hardwoods.\u00a0 Because of its softness, the wood is easy to operate, as in the case of hardwood.<\/p>\n

engineered Wood<\/a> can be said to be an extension of hard woo<\/a>d. It wouldn\u2019t be wrong to say that engineered woods<\/a> are derived from layers of hardwood. Engineered wood is a much better solution towards wood flooring because of the fact its composed of different hardwood layers, which prevents the wood from the humid weather and doesn\u2019t affect the wood.
